When word came out that due to health reasons Neil Young would not be inducting Pearl Jam into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this Friday (April 7), it caused an understandable ripple of worry.
After all, the legendary musician is close with the Seattle band and for him not to take to the podium for their induction led many to believe that something was seriously wrong.
However, a rep for the 71-year-old Young has assured his fans there’s no need to worry.
The rep acknowledged to Pitchfork that Young, “has not been feeling well, but his illness is nothing major.”
It’s been confirmed that David Letterman will be stepping in for Young for Pearl Jam’s induction.
