Comedian Neel Nanda Dead At 32

Stand-up comedian Neel Nanda has died.

The Atlanta-born Nanda, who appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Adam Devine’s House Party, was 32.

As of now, the cause of Nanda’s death is unknown.

Nanda got his start in comedy in his Alpharetta hometown before moving west to Los Angeles.

His hosted the weekly live show, Unnecessary Evil at the Westside Comedy Theater, which the L.A. Weekly named one of city’s Top 10 stand-up comedy shows.

Nanda’s other credits include Hulu’s Coming to the Stage and Viceland’s Flophouse

Fellow comic Matt Rife posted a tribute to Nanda on social media: “RIP Neel Nanda,’ Rife tweeted on X. ‘You were one of the nicest, hardest working comedians I’ve ever called a friend.”

Comedian Adam Newman also wrote of Nanda’s passing, saying it was, “…truly a huge loss for comedy and everyone who knew him.”

Nanda’s manager Greg Weiss issued this statement about young comic’s death: “I [am] deeply shocked and saddened by this. He was a wonderful comic, but a better person. He had the world in front of him.

Weiss revealed that Nanda had a full itinerary of appearances for January and February.
