Morrissey’s new album Bonfire Of Teenagers will be out next year.
Due out in February of 2023 on Capitol Records, the long-awaited album will feature eleven new tracks, including “Ha Ha Harlem” and “I Am Veronica.”
The album will be released globally except for the UK, however, Capitol has secured the rights to reissue Moz’s previous albums Southpaw Grammar, You Are The Quarry, Ringleader of the Tormentors, Years of Refusal and World Peace is None of Your Business.
Recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Andrew Watt (Pearl Jam, Lana Del Rey), the album features guest appearances by Iggy Pop, Miley Cyrus, and Chad Smith and Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Spin reported that Eddie Vedder said that Bonfire of Teenagers, “…was some of the greatest Morrissey I’d heard since back when it was the greatest Morrissey. This was like solid, great Morrissey, the whole time.”
Morrissey will be embarking on a 14-date U.S. tour in November.
