Madonna is in intensive care with what is being described as a “serious bacterial infection.”

Although her manager Guy Oseary wrote on Instagram that the 64-year-old singer is getting better, her upcoming Celebration World Tour has been postponed.

“Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care,” Oseary wrote. He then added: “A full recovery is expected.”

The Michigan-born musician was hospitalized Saturday evening (June 24) after being found unresponsive. Reports have indicated she was rushed to the hospital and intubated, although it’s not clear for how long. She was said to be awake and recuperating on Wednesday morning.

“At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour,” Oseary wrote. “We will share more details with you soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows.”

The Celebration tour was set to kick off July 15 in Vancouver.
