Known for her unlikely and creative covers, Lykke Li has just posted a clip of her taking a crack at Drake’s “Hold On, We’re Going Home.”
Sitting around after a show in London, Li’s version is a loose-limbed acoustic interpretation, filled with handclaps and a vocal turn that’s imbued with casual grace.
In fact, casual seems to be the operative word for everyone involved here–two of her bandmates drink wine and put on a shoe while the singer and her guitarist do the heavy lifting.
