Look, it’s really this simple: Lez Zeppelin blew my mind the other night.
Playing to an adoring sold-out crowd at the Fairfield Theatre Company in Connecticut, the all-female Led Zeppelin tribute band proved that they’re truly one of the greatest live acts around.
Singer Marlain Angelides not only has all of Robert Plant’s moves down cold, she’s got her own individual swagger and her voice is filled with power and heart.
Guitarist Steph Paynes’ playing was nothing short of staggering–she’s one of those effortless virtuosos that come along so rarely in rock and roll.
Rounded out by drummer Leeesa Harrington-Squyres and bassist Megan Thomas, Lez Zeppelin tore the place apart.
Check out some of my favorite shots of the night.
