Lee Tiger Halley has been cast as Bon Scott in the upcoming film The Kid From Harvest Road.
A young actor with tremendous range, the 18-year-old Halley has been turning heads for his work on Boy Swallows Universe and Crazy Fun Park.
The Perth-born actor who studied Drama at the coveted John Curtin College of the Arts, will play the late AC/DC frontman in the years before he rose to fame, growing up in Fremantle, Australia. Scott’s family relocated from Scotland to the port city when the future AC/DC frontman was ten.
A joint venture between the Australian production companies Halo Films and Protocol Pictures, the film is set to start filming in 2025.
In a statement on the film, Halo wrote that the biopic, will cover Scott’s “…path from a cherished yet troubled youth to a prodigious artist is a tale interwoven with the threads of magic and passion.”
