M83 are about to embark on a tour, but they have one major problem: they’re a member short.

Anthony Gonzalez who is the braintrust of the band, has issued an open call for a female singer/keyboardist to step into the role just vacated by Morgan Kibby.

On M83’s Facebook page Gonzalez writes: “Back in 2011 I opened up the search for a musician to join the M83 tour. That turned out to be Jordan Lawlor who played with us all over the world and is still in the band! This time I am looking for a female singer who can also play keyboard to join us.  Take a look at the requirements below, if you think you fit the role enter your details and send us a video of you singing and a video of you playing keys below.”

The “below” Gonzalez is referring to is a form that M83 aspirants are to fill out.

Along with that, applicants will need to submit a video of themselves singing and playing keyboards.

The selected candidate will begin rehearsing with the band in Los Angeles in early March and should plan on hitting the road in April and staying on it until December.

Of course a valid passport is required and the absence of a criminal history–which would make international travel difficult–is essential.
