Inara George has just released a Spanish version of her song “Release Me.”
Translated to “Liberame” by Maria Del Pilar, the song is an intensely personal glimpse into George’s childhood as it details her mother’s devastating heartbreak after the death of her husband (and George’s father) Lowell George.
Lowell George, who was the frontman of Little Feat, died in 1979 at the age of 34.
“Libername” was premiered by way of People Magazine en Español.
“Release Me” is taken from Inara George’s new album Dearest Everybody.
In other Inara George news, the singer/songwriter will be appearing at the L.A. Times’ Festival of Books on April 22.
She also recently appeared on Stereo Embers: The Podcast.
