Howard Jones made a stop at The Chapel in San Francisco and his performance was both intimate and captivating.
Although Jones’ career-spanning “The Songs And The Stories” tour finds the Southampton-born singer/songwriter performing accompanied only by his trusty keyboard. Spare as that set-up may have been, from “No One Is To Blame” to “New Song,” Jones’ songbook is rich and deep and every number had its own sonic rewards.
Not only that, but Jones’ stories are as captivating as his music and this was a perfect night of music and monologues, blended together in seamless fashion.
