The rebooted “Point Break” is due to hit theaters December 25,
Starring Luke Bracey (“G.I. Joe: Retaliation”) as Johnny Utah and Edgar Ramirez as Bodhi, the remake doesn’t use surfing as a backdrop, and instead focuses on the world of extreme sports.
…and bankrobbing.
The film is directed by Ericson Core and it’s official IMDB description is as follows: “A young FBI agent infiltrates an extraordinary team of extreme sports athletes he suspects of masterminding a string of unprecedented, sophisticated corporate heists.”
The movie builds on that well-worn cliche’: if there’s a crime, there’s an extraordinary team of extreme sports athletes behind it.
