Hoboken legend James Mastro opened for Marshall Crenshaw the other night at the Fairfield Theatre Company in Connecticut and he was fabulous.
Drawing on a rich songbook, Mastro’s music is poetic and filled with lyrical wisdom, while his guitar playing is redolent with dexterous finesse.
His set was warm and intimate and each track had the crowd hanging on every note.
It was a lovely night.
