American actress, singer, and composer Lexi Lawson, one of the stars of the acclaimed Broadway play Hamilton, has just released a holiday season single, “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire”, available on all digital platforms including iTunes and Spotify.

Lawson is currently playing Eliza Hamilton in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tony-winning hit Hamilton. This performance marks Lawson’s return to the music of Miranda. She had previously performed in the first national tour of In the Heights in the leading role as Vanessa. Lawson has also portrayed Mimi in the Broadway tour of Rent. This production included the original Broadway cast members like Adam Pascal (Mark) and Anthony Rapp (Roger).
