2018 might very well be ending with some exciting news.
Thanks to a cryptic post from the social media account of Doves, it seems the Manchester band are set to reform.
Although it’s been nearly ten years since their last studio album (2009’s Rust), it appears the hiatus is about to end. On November 30th Doves’ Twitter account posted a picture of touring luggage embossed with the distinct white stenciled lettering of the band’s name.
Superimposed over the photo is the date: 03.12.18
Many believe the date, which is this coming Monday, will mark the day the band announces a forthcoming new album and tour dates for 2019.
Doves played their last gig in 2010 at the Warehouse Project in Manchester.
