While the recording of a new Fleetwood Mac album is underway, fans of the band will be pleased to hear that Stevie Nicks is preparing to release a new double album in October.
Dubbed 24 Karat Gold: Songs From The Vault, the album is comprised of songs that Nicks penned from 1969-1987. In a prepared statement about the record, Nicks said: “Each song is a lifetime. Each song has a soul. Each song has a purpose. Each song is a love story… They represent my life behind the scenes, the secrets, the broken hearts, the broken-hearted and the survivors.”
Set to be released on October 7, the album was produced by Waddy Wachtel, Dave Stewart and Nicks.
As for the new Fleetwood Mac album, not much is known at this point, however, it has been confirmed that eight tracks have been completed and longtime member Christine McVie will indeed be on the record.
