Fishbone Announce In Your Face 40th Anniversary Tour

Written by:

Fishbone have announced a tour to honor the 40th anniversary of their legendary In Your Face album.

The band’s 1986 debut contains classics like “When Problems Arise” and “In The Air,” and the tour will find them playing the record front to back. Produced by David Kahne (Sublime, The Strokes), In Your Face found the Southern California ska band all over MTV and opening for everyone from the Beastie Boys to Murphys Law.

The tour will open in San Francisco in April and end in Pomona in early May, with stops in Chicago, Philadelphia and Brooklyn in between.

On social media Fishbone wrote: “We are so excited and pleased to announce the 40 Year Anniversary Album Play tour of In Your Face… That’s right, we’ll be out there in April and May playing In Your Face front to back, followed by another set of your favorites… this will be the first time we’ve done anything like this (and if all goes well, won’t be the last), so we want to see you there. Tickets go on sale to the general public tomorrow (January 16th) at 12pm EST. Links to all shows can be found in our Linktree as well as all the club sites… you ask how you can support bands? Come see us live… this will not be just a show. This will be an event… see you there!”

In other Fishbone news,  In Your Face will also be treated to a remastered reissue later this year.
