Fiona Apple Releases New Single “Horns Of A Bull”

Fiona Apple has released a new track called “Horns Of A Bull.”

Composed as the title sequence for the new Anya Taylor-Joy series Lucky, the track finds Apple in dark and winning form.

Based on Marissa Stapley’s 2021 novel of the same name, Lucky follows the exploits of a career con-woman on the run who has to outsmart the F.B.I. and a crime syndicate in order to stay alive.

In keeping with the tense pace of the series, Apple sings, “…no qualification can make you immune/To the things I can do, if I’m doing them to you.”

Co-produced by Apple and her drummer Amy Aileen Wood, who also happens to be the wife of Lucky show runner Cassie Pappas, “Horns Of A Bull” is a slow-building track that’s filled with moody piano, smoldering vocals and hypnotic, midnight percussion.
