Ed Kowalczyk has rejoined Live.
The singer of the York, Pennsylvania outfit is back with the band he co-founded back in the mid-’80s. He left the band in 2009 and was replaced by Unified Theory’s Chris Shinn.
Kowalczyk and his bandmates Ed Kowalczyk, Chad Taylor, Patrick Dahlheimer and Chad Gracey announced yesterday that the band’s original lineup would not only be touring, but new music is on the way.
On Facebook the band posted the following message: “It is with great excitement that we announce the reunion of all 4 original members of +LIVE+. We’ll see you on tour soon in 2017! Thanks for all your love and support —Ed, Chad T., Chad G. & Patrick.”
A press release also indicated that Live would be “headlining shows” and making “key festival appearances.”
A new single and potentially EP will be out in 2017 and a rumored full-length is also in the works.
