I’ve seen Blues Traveler so many times, to count just how many would take all night.
The New Jersey outfit has been going strong since 1987 and they haven’t lost any of their bluesy bite. John Popper is one of the best harmonica players in the game and his vocal delivery still has all the bluesy muscle that makes each song a rootsy workout.
Along with Jono Manson, the band visited the Capitol Theater the other night, touring behind their new album of covers Traveler’s Soul.
It was a killer set, with the Grammy Award-winning outfit playing with tireless energy.
Along with Popper, the band is comprised of Chan Kinchla (guitar), Tad Kinchla (bass), Ben Wilson (keyboards), and Brendan Hill (drums).
They’re as tight and rockin’ as it gets. A great night!
