Dogstar have released the latest single “The Sphere” from their upcoming new album All In Now.

The L.A. band’s fourth album overall, the twelve-track All In Now was produced by Nick Launay (IDLES, Midnight Oil, Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds) and features the lineup of guitarist/vocalist Bret Domrose, drummer Robert Mailhouse and bassist Keanu Reeves.

Of “The Sphere” Domrose said in a statement: “The music just had that rolling rhythm, and I didn’t want to distract from that. So, I basically started playing what Keanu was playing because that’s what the song wants – that pull, that rhythm. Then it opens up in the chorus and gives you a break.”

“It’s a fun ride, that song. Very fun.” Reeves added.

To mark the release of the record, on June 2nd Dogstar will be at the Grammy Museum’s Ray Charles Rooftop Terrace for a Q&A and a live performance.

As for what the record will sound like, Launay offered his take in a press release: “I love how Bret’s voice and melodies soar above the solid grooves on this album. There’s something very honest about it, which I guess is why it’s called All in Now. I think this friendly trio is sounding HUGE and will turn some heads this time around.”

All In Now will be out on May 29th through Dillon Street Records.
