Dinosaur Jr. have announced they will tour North America with Snail Mail this summer.

The two bands will embark on an 18-date co-headlining tour that will begin in Massachusetts in July and end with a swing through the Pacific Northwest in early August.

Easy Action will be the tour openers.

Comprised of singer/guitarist J. Mascis, bassist/singer Lou Barlow and drummer Murph, Dinosaur Jr. haven’t put an album out since 2021’s Sweep It Into Space.

They did, however, tour at the end of 2024 for the 30th anniversary of 1993’s Where You Been.

Snail Mail is the solo project of twenty-five-year-old singer/songwriter Lindsey Erin Jordan, who toured in 2024 with Waxahatchee and Tim Heidecker. Recently Jordan has made a foray into acting, appearing in the 2024 critically-acclaimed indie film I Saw The TV Glow.

She also recorded The Smashing Pumpkins’ “Tonight Tonight” for the film.

Snail Mail’s most recent album is 2021’s Valentine, which was put out by Matador.
