Galactic are one of my favorite bands to photograph.

A true electric blend of soul, funk and jazz, the New Orleans outfit are one of the greatest live bands on the earth and to see them play in person is always an invigorating and captivating experience.

Their recent stop at New York’s Capitol Theatre only added to their reputation and the show was a non-stop blend of adrenalized roots music played with alacrity and heart.

The band played numbers that were culled from their discography, including their most recent album, 2019’s Already Ready Already.
