Former Noah And The Whale singer Charlie Fink has announced the release of his first solo album.

The news comes almost two years to the day that Noah And The Whale broke up.

Formed in Twickenham, London back in 2006, Noah and the Whale’s discography includes four albums (Peaceful, The World Lays Me Down, The First Days Of Spring, Last Night On Earth and Heart of Nowhere). Noah and the Whale count Laura Marling, Emmy The Great, Lillie Flynn and Slow Club’s Rebecca Taylor as past members.

Recorded at London’s RAK Studios, Fink’s album is called Cover My Tracks and it will hit shelves on June 2.

The album features The Staves on backing vocals and also features a guest appearance by classical guitarist Laura Snowden.

Cover My Tracks’ first single is called “Firecracker” which you can watch below.
