Cake are about to hit the road.
The beloved Sacramento outfit are heading out on a U.S tour in May, which will kick off in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The band haven’t announced any dates in their hometown, but they will hit Costa Mesa and Pasa Robles in July. Looking at their itinerary there’s plenty of space between shows, so dates could be added in the coming weeks.
The tour will have Cake on the road through the summer and it’s set to end in Austin in mid-September.
The band have very quietly become studio recluses, having not released a new album since 2004’s Pressure Chief.
Pressure Chief was treated to a vinyl reissue early in March on 180g black or pink vinyl.
