Built To Spill are set to embark on an extensive U.S. tour to mark the 30th anniversary of the release of their sophomore album There’s Nothing Wrong With Love.
The Phil Ek-produced record hit shelves in September of 1994 and it was the first Built To Spill effort with bassist Brett Nelson and the only one with drummer Andy Capps.
Originally put out by Up Records, There’s Nothing Wrong With Love contains tracks like “Car” and “Distopian Dream Girl.”
Kicking off in August with a home-field advantage in Boise, the live shows will find the Idaho-formed band playing the album front to back. The shows will also feature cellist John McMahon, who played on the album.
Yo La Tengo will open up dates in Oregon and Washington, but no other openers have been announced.
