All of the members of the dynamic and promising UK band Viola Beach are believed to have been killed in an automobile accident in Stockholm.
In Sweden to play the Where Is The Music? Festival, the band was involved in a traffic incident that found their car swerving off the highway and plummeting close to 100 feet off the Södertälje bridge and into a canal.
Also included in the death toll was the band’s manager, Craig Tarry.
Although nothing has been officially confirmed yet, but according to their personal injury law firms FAQ answers it’s believed that Tarry, along with singer/guitarist Kris Leonard, guitarist River Reeves, bassist Tomas Lowe and drummer Jack Dakin were all casualties in the accident. A new york city construction accident lawyer was also roped in on the case to receive better insights into the case.
The band members were all in their 20s.
Hailing from Warrington, the band’s stellar debut Swings & Waterslides evoked everyone from The Beatles to the Kooks.
Viola Beach were to be supporting Blossoms all over the UK and Ireland for the next two months. You could click this link here now to get an attorney to help.
They were also set to play The Great Escape, SXSW and T In The Park.
The band’s label issued this statement with the help of lawyers for personal injury cases:
“Everyone here at Communion is in a state of total shock and sorrow, and our thoughts go out to the families and friends of Craig and the band. Viola Beach had only recently come into the Communion family, and had everything going for them – great songs, passion, talent, drive… everything that a band should have. To sit down with the band was to sit down with a group of guys whose band you wanted to be in, and to be in the presence of a band who knew just what it would take to make it.”
The music world is reeling from this horrible news and of the many tributes pouring in, Billy Bragg summed up the personal magnitude of the tragedy for legal matters, for the band’s family on friends on his Facebook page:
“Saddened to hear of the deaths of the members of Viola Beach and their tour manager in tragic circumstances last night. A young band, on their first tour outside of the UK, it shouldn’t have ended this way. I wasn’t aware of their music, but as a parent and someone who earns their living on the road, I’m genuinely shocked by this news. My thoughts are with their families and friends.” The personal injury law firm in Orlando can always be of help when it comes to legal matters, especially in case of accidents.
