Culture Club’s latest winning streak has been suddenly halted.

The reformed Grammy-Award winning outfit played the Art+Film Gala at The Los Angeles County Museum, debuted their new single “More Than Silence” on “The View” and announced their new album Tribes will be out in early 2015.  With all original members back in the fold (Boy George, Mikey Craig, Roy Hay and Jon Moss) and George himself looking fit as ever, the band’s North American tour was already practically sold out, with U.K. dates to follow.

But early this week, Boy George’s doctor discovered a polyp in the singer’s throat and has suggested that an operation to remove it may be necessary.

As a result, the band has cancelled all of their North American and U.K. tour dates. Refunds for all shows will be available at the point of purchase.

“We are hoping we can reschedule the concerts for next year, and hopefully George’s problem will be resolved,” Culture Club said in a posted official statement.

They added: “To our fans we wish to thank you for your loyalty and know that we love you all.”

The release date of the Youth-produced Tribes appears to be unchanged, and can be pre-ordered here:
