The Cure Welcome Perry Bamonte Back To The Band

Written by:

Perry Bamonte has rejoined The Cure.

The guitarist/keyboardist who played with the legendary band from 1990-2005, took the stage with The Cure on the opening night of their World Tour (Oct 6), which kicked off in Latvia.

Bamonte, who was a guitar tech for The Cure in 1984, became a permanent member in 1990 when Roger O’Donnell left the fold.

Bamonte first appeared on the Wish album and from there played on Wild Mood Swings, Bloodflowers and The Cure.

The Cure’s highly anticipated new album Songs Of A Lost World is due to be released before the end of the year, but whether or not Bamonte plays on the album is not known.
