Superchunk To Play Acoustic Set At Amoeba Music In San Francisco

Written by:

Superchunk’s Mac McCaughan and Jim Wilbur are set to play an acoustic set at Amoeba Music in San Francisco.

The event will be Saturday, February 24th at 2pm.

After the duo play, they’ll be signing copies of their new album What A Time To Be Alive.

The legendary Chapel Hill band have been around since 1989 and have seen the political landscape shift from the negative to the positive and back again. That said, What A Time To Be Alive is not a political album that addresses policy, however it is an album that’s a direct reaction to them under the darkness of the current regime.

The acoustic set is free and the purchase of the band’s new record will get you into the signing line.
