Post-Punk Band Dover Lights Set To Release Their Atmospheric And Restless New Album

Written by:

Hailing from the mountainous Ozark region of the US Midwest, Dover Lights embrace an atmospheric and brooding British post-punk sound on their upcoming self-titled album. The LP materializes on January 15th via Big Horse Records.

The Dover Lights is a natural phenomenon of specific light suddenly appearing in a nearby valley where the band members live, and which gives them their name.

The record itself is streaked through with mystery and hidden meanings that encompass the natural world and human emotions.

Solid melodic pop structures underpin the moodily restless rock tracks that are imbued with a cool and detached ambience and ruminative vocals that prevail in dystopia-driven post-punk music.

Daniel Brinker (vocals) and Andy Moore (guitar) are the core force behind the outfit, and they create music that is both nostalgic and forward-looking.
