Fiona Apple isn’t quite as reclusive as J.D. Salinger, but the mercurial singer is a bit elusive, so for us, any Fiona Apple news is worth getting excited about.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Apple’s 1999 album When The Pawn…, she’s teamed up with fellow New York-born singer/songwriter King Princess (Mikaela Straus) for an updated version of “I Know.”

The 21-year-old Straus handles the vocals on the song while Apple backs her up.

King Princess is signed to Mark Ronson’s label Zelig Records and is expected to put out her debut full-length effort later this year. Her EP Make My Bed hit shelves in 2018.

Meanwhile, the Grammy-winning Apple hasn’t put a record out since 2012’s The Idler Wheel.
