The Record Company opened for Robert Randolph and the Family Band at Fairfield Theatre company’s The Warehouse (Jan 29).

The California trio of Chris Vos on vocals, guitars and harp, Alex Stiff on bass and Marc Cazorla on drums, who recently signed to Concord Records were playing songs from their debut album Give it Back to You.  I was quickly won over by their high energy and their foot stomping, howling, swampy and hard rocking blues.  While the debut album official release date is February 12, lucky for me they had some advance copies they were selling at the show and it was the best $12 I’ve spent in a long time.

I have been editing photos at my desk for days and have listened to the album from start to finish at least 10 times and it’s near perfect.
