Jesse Malin put on quite a show the other night in Connecticut.
Playing a blistering set that was loaded with energy and heart, Malin sounded great and his band was awesome. Falling somewhere between Henry Rollins and Bruce Springsteen, Malin’s got a punk rock sensibility and a rootsy swagger.
As a performer, he’s generous and genial, interacting with his fans and telling great stories between songs.
